Open Day - 3rd September
The Barnfield Summer Open Day will be Saturday, the 3rd of September 12:30pm until 4:30pm.
If anybody would like a stall at the open day or can help us out by donating possible items for prizes, tombola items, raffle or auction items, let us know.
This is always a massive team effort where everyone pulls together to support us in our Barnfield family and the local community so all offers of help will be gratefully received.
BHS Stage 2 - Care and Lunge
The BHS stage 2 course starts on August 27th and will cover the horse care and lunging sections of the exam.

Dressage Prep Clinic
Anyone entering the Dressage Test on the 20th August can join our dressage prep clinic to:
- get a run-through of the test and what to expect
- ask last-minute questions (what to wear)
- a private lesson to practice the test
- a plaiting demonstration and practice

Summer Dressage Afternoon - 20th August
We are holding a dressage test on the 20th August for anyone who would like to enter. The entrance fee is £20. There will be prizes for:
Best Turned Out Horse and Rider
Walk and Trot Test
Everyone is welcome to enter, watch and support someone else who is entering! Refreshments available!
Sign up BHS Stage 1 - 23rd April
The 8-week course starts Saturday, the 23rd of April, followed by the stage one exam. The course covers horse care, ride safe and level 1 riding.
For anyone wanting to learn more about how to care for horses or to ride to stage one level, or looking to start professional qualifications.
You can do the horse care element of the course and exam.￼

Franklin Ball Clinic - Monday 14th Feb
The Franklin Method for equestrians uses Dynamic Neuro-Cognitive Imagery combined with the use of Franklin Balls during movement on the horse simulator to help you:
Improve body awareness with core strength training
Improve mobility & suppleness
Improve body control (alignment, deliberate relaxation)
